The priciest 1/24 and 1/64 sales of April 2026 is a does of déjà vu. Seven of the 10 cars appearing on this month’s top sales are repeats from prior months, further highlighting the continued desirability of these cars.
Top five 1/24 sales of April 2026
In March, the top-five 1/24 sales each surpassed $1,000, but only the priciest 1/24 sold in April reached the four-figure mark. April also stood out as a more “modern” month of sales. Two Next Gen Cup cars earned spots on the list, and the most dated diecast appearing is from 2012.
Kyle Larson diecasts occupy spots No. 4 and 5 this month.
At No. 5 is DIN No. 1 of Larson’s 2025 Championship car in Liquid Color Elite form. One of just 38 of the commemorative diecasts marking second Cup Series win, the Liquid Color Elite champ car sold April 14 for $750.

Larson’s second diecast this month — his 2016 Michigan Raced Win, Larson’s first Cup victory — further underscores its grail status (you can read more about it here). Various versions of Larson’s maiden win have appeared several times on the monthly top-five list. This month’s entry is DIN No. 11 of the 31 Liquid Color Elite versions produced. It sold in Canada for the US-dollar adjusted price of $767.

Another repeat entry comes in at No. 3, Jeff Gordon’s 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Impala. The Elite version, one of 300 produced, sold April 7 for $791 with 43 bids entered.
This is the fifth time Gordon’s TMNT has appeared on the monthly top sales list dating back to August 2024. That month, an Elite version sold for $990 while an Elite Color Chrome commanded $1,400. A Color Chrome sold last May for $1,120. A 1/64 version was the No. 3 top sale of December in that scale, selling for $135.

A Dale Earnhardt Jr. promotional 1/24 earns the No. 2 spot in April.
Earnhardt Jr. co-founded Voodoo Ride, a car care product line, in 2007. A promotional 1/24 diecast was produced for Voodoo Ride in 2013 on a Nationwide Camaro body. The production run was limited to 500 units, and reportedly, these No. 88s were only sold on Earnhardt Jr.’s website and at merchandise haulers. Given its limited production and promotional ties to Junior, the Voodoo Ride 1/24s are hard to come by and command impressive prices.
One version, with a far-from-pristine box, sold April 19 for $800.

The Carson Hocevar “Hurricane” has hit diecast collectors in recent months, with pricing for the Cup Series’ most recent winner’s diecasts skyrocketing in price. Just a few days after Hocevar won the Jack Link’s 500 at Talladega, and Lionel Racing reported all versions of the Raced Win diecast had met the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) in 12 hours, an Elite version of his 2025 Chili’s Ride the ‘Dente 1/24 commanded four figures.
One of the 122 Elite 2025 Hocevar Ride The ‘Dente Camaros sold April 29 for $1,076, earning 13 bids and the title of most expensive 1/24 diecast sold in April.

Top five 1/64 sales of April 2026
Jimmie Johnson’s 2016 Homestead Raced Win, which earned Johnson his seventh Cup Series title, makes its second appearance on the top 1/64 sales of 2026.
Carl Edwards and Joey Logano looked poised to battle for the title in 2016, but Edwards wrecked attempting to block Logano on a late restart, setting up an overtime finish. Johnson worked his way forward in the melee and took the lead from Kyle Larson while approaching the white flag and held on to earn his “Seven-Time” moniker.
An example of Johnson’s 2016 Homestead Raced Win sold April 2 for $200. Of note, another version sold in January for $125.

All Red Bull Racing 1/64s command high prices, but this month again seems to showcase the priciest among these are those driven by Brian Vickers. In the first of three Vickers Red Bull Racing Toyota’s on this month’s list, Vickers’ 2011 No. 83 Red Bull sold for $225 on April 24.

At No. 3 is Vickers’ 2008 Red Bull Camry signed on the window box by the driver. It commanded $240 when it sold April 1.

Vickers also holds the No. 1 spot this month. A 2007 Motorsports Authentics COT, produced with an opening hood and widely considered the most desirable option among COT 1/64s, sold April 29 for $400.

Breaking up the Vickers domination of top sales for April is a, or possibly two, Kyle Busch promo(s).
Two versions of Busch’s 2012 Monster Energy Nationwide Series promo 1/64s sold April 13 and April 27. Offered as an exclusive from Kyle Busch Motorsports, the promo 1/64 was offered for free with the purchase of the 1/24, but the 1/64 quickly surpassed the desirability, at least among prices paid, for the larger diecast.

It appears two versions each sold April 13 and 27 by the same seller and for the same price, $300. It’s not apparent if this was a re-listing, or if the cars happened to command that same figure when sold. Regardless, Busch’s No. 54 Monster promo ends up at No. 2 this month, and this buyer paid notably more than two versions that sold in January for $150 and $160.
