The priciest eBay NASCAR diecast sales of February 2025 run the gamut of new and old, prototypes and Elite Gold.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. again cracks the top-five priciest sales this month. A signed version of Earnhardt Jr.’s 2014 Raced Win No. 88 National Guard Chevy SS, complete with typical short track body damage and a blanket of confetti, commanded $419.99 on Feb. 8, the fifth priciest sale of the month.

Earnhardt started fifth in a late-race restart and quickly shot to second in a single lap. He then set his sights on leader Tony Stewart, moving “Smoke” high up the track with a bump to take the lead coming off turn four with four laps remaining. His teammate Jeff Gordon cut into Earnhardt’s lead in the closing laps but couldn’t get close enough to strike, earning Junior his only win at the historic “paperclip.”

The No. 4 spot is a gem for NASCAR history buffs. Lionel honored the 2024 NASCAR Hall of Fame inductees with a “Forever Legends” promotional diecast, including 217 Elite versions. One such Elite Class of 2024 Hall of Fame diecast, signed in gold by all three inductees — Jimmie Johnson, Chad Knaus and Donnie Allison — was sold Feb. 28 for $449.99.

Tying that sale price is a Kevin Harvick Grail. Harvick’s 2010 Coke Zero 400 Raced Win was limited to a production run of just 300 examples, all of them in Elite finish. As such, these diecasts are hard to come by, and the sale price of $449.99 shows they aren’t easy on the wallet, either.

February continues a trend for 2024 Elite Gold cars selling for big bucks. Coming in at No. 2 this month is Chase Elliott’s 2024 Hooters Texas Raced Win in Elite Gold, which sold for $650. Each of these diecasts were limited to 48 units each, but several have already sold on eBay. Another example of Elliott’s Elite Gold Hooters win sold for $700 in January.

Topping the sales chart for February is one of the ultimate Jeff Gordon Grails. A 2014 Axalta Radiant Red prototype, signed by Gordon with a certificate of authenticity, sold Feb. 20 for an eye-popping $1,700.

The Radiant Red scheme, which ran at the 2014 Phoenix playoff race and was unveiled by Gordon at SEMA that year, marked the special hue as Axalta’s “Color of the Year.” The Radiant Red diecast is already a hot commodity for Gordon collectors — one the 84 Color Chrome versions sold for $500 in November — making the signed Color Chrome prototype that much more desirable.

As with all prototypes, it does not come with a box and bears a sticker on the front windshield denoting its prototype status. Of note, the Radiant Red prototype was offered by the same seller, mojoscollectibles, that sold a prototype of Gordon’s Axalta/Finishmaster 2014 Chevy SS for $500 in January.

An honorable mention for February goes to Noah Gragson’s 2018 Safelite Truck Series diecast. The signed Kyle Busch Motorsports exclusive release — which was limited to 203 standard versions and 300 signed examples — sold for $400 Feb. 3, just missing out on what would have been the first Truck Series diecast to crack the top-five since Diecast Mag began tracking eBay sales in June 2024
