The NASCAR Cup Series returns to “paper clip” Sunday with the Cook Out 400 at Martinsville. The green flag is set to drop at approximately 3 p.m. EST. Stage lengths for the race are 80/100/220 laps.

William Byron is the defending spring race winner, while Ryan Blaney won in the Cup Series’ most recent trip to Martinsville in the penultimate race of the 2024 season.

Of note, Casey Mears makes his return to the Cup Series driving the No. 66, Garage 66, entry. Burt Myers also makes his first points-paying Cup Series start in the No. 50 AmeriVet Chevy. Myers, a Bowman-Gray legend, made his first Cup start at the Clash this season.

A bevy of new schemes will hit the track Sunday, including new rides for Chris Buescher, Noah Gragson, Ty Dillon, Christopher Bell, Todd Gilliland, AJ Allmendinger, Riley Herbst and others. As such, just 15 of the 37 cars appearing in Sunday’s race are currently available to preorder. This article will be updated should more become available to order at a later date.
