The NASCAR Cup Series will hold its first points-paying race in Mexico and first outside the United States Sunday for the Viva Mexico 250 at Autódromo Hermanos RodrÃguez. The green flag is set to drop on the 2.42-mile road course at approximately 3 p.m. EST Sunday. The 100-lap event will feature stage breaks at laps 20 and 45.
The Viva Mexico 250 will feature the debut of several new schemes for drivers including Ross Chastain, Cody Ware and Ryan Preece. Of the 37 cars entered, 16 are available now to order or pre-order as 1/24 and 1/64 diecasts. These include;
