The regular season ends Saturday night under the lights at Daytona with the Coke Zero Sugar 400. The 160-lap race is scheduled to start at approximately 7:30 p.m. with stage breaks at laps 35 and 95.
All 14 race-winners are locked in the playoffs, and the playoff field is set if there are no new eligible winners at Daytona. Twenty-two drivers can earn a playoff berth with a win. Tyler Reddick, who holds a 29-point advantage over Alex Bowman for the 15th-seed, secures a playoff berth provided he is within 28 points of Bowman at the end of the Coke Zero Sugar 400.
A host of new schemes will make their debut at Daytona. Bubba Wallace, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Ryan Preece, Ross Chastain, Riley Herbst, Carson Hocevar and others will sport all-new looks.
Several non-chartered teams will also compete, including the No. 33 of Austin Hill, Joey Gase’s No. 44 NY Racing Team Chevrolet, Casey Mears’ Garage 66 Ford and BJ McLeod in the No. 78 Live Fast Motorsports entry.
